|Thought of sharing my opinions on the airport lounges that I have visited so far in Jan/Feb 2016. For a starter I have never been to a airport lounge prior to 2016. Lounge Access made possible by Citi Prestige & Amex Platinum Cards.
Best Breakfast Options: MIA Centurion Lounge
Best Lounge Seats: MIA Centurion Lounge (just because adds a little bit of cozy feeling see photos below)
Best Kids Room : Tie between Admirals club & Centurion Lounge
Best Food Options: ORD Concourse H Admirals Club
Best Flight Take off & Landing view: PHX Admirals Club – Concourse B
Cheapest Daypass option: Airspace Lounge
Jan/Feb 2016:
CLT Admirals club – Concourse C
- Excited about first time lounge access
- Large space – quite easy to find a quite spot for you to relax
- Short on number of restrooms. Can get crowded & might have to wait in line for your turn.
- No Showers
- No Kids Area (not a big deal since its quite huge area you can still have your kid in a calm & quite environment & possibly let others relax
JFK Admirals club – Terminal 8 Remote Concourse C
- Large space
- Good food for purchase
- Kids room
- Showers
- Not an issue with restrooms
- Good views of flights takeoff & landing
PHX Admirals club – Concourse B
- Small space
- No showers
- No kids room
- Short on number of restrooms.
- Awesome spot to view flight takeoff & landing
PHX Admirals club – Concourse A
- Large space
- No showers
- No kids room
MIA Admirals club – Concourse D Near Gate 15
- Renovation in Progress
- Showers
- No kids room
MIA Admirals club – Concourse D Near Gate 30
- Large space
- Kids room
- Showers
- Not an issue with restrooms
ORD Admirals club – Concourse H
- Large space
- Kids room
- Showers
- Not an issue with restrooms
- Good food for purchase as well
DFW Admirals club – Concourse A
- Large space
- Kids room
- Showers
- Not an issue with restrooms
- Good food for purchase as well
- Music Room
ATL Admirals club – Concourse T
- Small space
- No showers
- No kids room
MIA – Centurion Lounge
- Large space
- Kids room – closed doors as well
- Showers ( not many so there is a waiting list)
- Awesome lounge seating (cozy)
- Best Breakfast options than Admirals club
- Way better hot chocolate than Admirals club
- Not an issue with restrooms
- SPA services available
SAN – Airspace Lounge Terminal 2
- Small space
- $10 credit towards premium menu purchase.
- Showers
- Entrance not so obvious you might miss it & walk past it.
- Closest to Terminal 2 gates.
- Nice place to relax before your flight.
- For $20 day pass – Might be a steal for relax in a calm environment.
- Citi Prestige/Amex Platinum can get you access.
- Admiral Club members are welcome as well.
